  I have been a DLL customer since the doors first opened. Their prices are hard to beat. I built houses for the better part of a decade and this is where I went for all the homes. They are rural -- run a modest operation with low overhead, which correlates to lower prices to consumers. The lumber is inland northwest grown - tighter growth rings --- dense and hardy -- look at some of the coastal grown lumber supplied at the large box stores. Another reviewer discussed bringing back bad lumber -- there is no such thing: as a builder, you learn to use this for bracing, blocking, cripples under windows, headers etc -- a bent board is still straight at spots. Personally I would rather utilize this lumber and pay less -- if everyone couldn't find good uses for this, we would all be paying premium. Diamond lake lumber is a great place to get quotes for house packages, pole buildings and they deliver. They also have some of the best prices and availability of cedar - in multiple products - siding - T&G - Shiplap - It is actually pretty amazing some of the stuff they sell beyond the scope of dimensional lumber. Milled fir - I have bought this there as well - both for floor and ceiling. The list goes on as to what they sell; if it is used in construction -- it is worth a call. The manager is pretty much a straight shooter - tells you like it is - but he is personable, easy to deal with - and resourceful -- lots of construction contacts -- if he doesn't have it -- there is a good chance he can get it. Yeah - overall my experience with these folks has been positive and I will continue going back.
